Cape Girardeau Police Department asks for help identifying people trying to get into cars
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – The Cape Girardeau Police Department asks for help identifying suspects caught on camera who tried to gain access to two cars.
Both cars were locked, and they moved on.
Cape Girardeau police say this is a good reminder to always lock your vehicles.
Officer Bobby Newton, with the Cape Girardeau Police Department says, “So, we’ve had an increase of thefts from vehicles the majority of those are vehicles that are unlocked, so make sure you are locking your vehicles, we’re also getting video footage from neighbors and victims of these crimes, and that helps tremendously in tracking down these individuals and sends out the message that we’re watching.”
Multi-Media Journalist Sasha Moore will have more information @ 9!
