CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The Cape Girardeau Police Department is asking the community to help bring Christmas cheer to children in need by donating toys to the Marine Toys for Tots Southeast Missouri campaign.
The department is once again serving as a drop-off location for the annual holiday toy drive, which provides gifts to local children during the Christmas season.
Residents can donate new, unwrapped toys by placing them in the Toys for Tots collection box inside the police department’s lobby at 2530 Maria Louise Lane in Cape Girardeau.
Donations will be accepted through Dec. 10.
Police say even a single toy can help make the holidays brighter for a child in need.
The department thanked the community for its continued generosity and encouraged residents to participate in the effort to spread holiday cheer throughout Southeast Missouri.
