Cape Girardeau Police Department promotes two veteran officers

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The Cape Girardeau Police Department has promoted two veteran officers to lieutenant positions.

Lt. Keith Green, a 21-year department veteran, will oversee Auxiliary Services, following his stint as sergeant of A Platoon.

Lt. Darrin Sides, who has served 11 years, will join the Patrol Division, bringing leadership experience from his time as D Platoon’s sergeant.

Both officers have demonstrated commitment, leadership and dedication to keeping Cape Girardeau safe, the department said.
