Cape Girardeau police mark Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, thank community support

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Cape Girardeau Police Department marked Law Enforcement Appreciation Day by recognizing its officers and thanking local, state and federal law enforcement partners who serve alongside the department.

Police officials also expressed gratitude to the community for its ongoing support, noting that officers are recognized not only on the annual appreciation day, but throughout the year.

The department said it will share posts throughout the day highlighting examples of community support.

The department said it is grateful to serve the Cape Girardeau community and thanked residents for their continued support of law enforcement.
