Cape Girardeau proclaims July as Parks and Recreation Month

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The City of Cape Girardeau has officially proclaimed July as Parks and Recreation Month, recognizing the role parks and recreation programs play in the community.

The proclamation was announced during Monday night’s City Council meeting.

Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation will continue the celebration with Parks and Recreation Day on Wednesday, inviting residents to enjoy a day highlighting the city’s parks, programs and the staff who help make them possible.
