Cape Girardeau Public School Foundation marks 31st anniversary with ribbon cutting

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The Cape Girardeau Public School Foundation marked its 31st anniversary Thursday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony held in partnership with the Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce.

The event took place at the foundation’s location at 301 N. Clark St. and drew community supporters, alumni and members of the public to recognize more than three decades of support for public education in the district.

Foundation officials said the milestone reflects sustained community investment in students, educators and schools across Cape Girardeau Public Schools.
