Cape Girardeau Riverfest 250 to feature live music, food and fireworks

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Cape Girardeau Riverfest 250 is set to bring an evening of live entertainment, food and fireworks to the downtown riverfront as the community celebrates Independence Day and America’s 250th anniversary.

The event will be held beneath the bridge along the riverfront and will feature performances by Joy Brooker, the Ivas John Band and Mike Walker: Lasting Impressions.

In addition to live music, attendees can enjoy food trucks and family-friendly activities throughout the evening.

The celebration will conclude with a fireworks display scheduled to begin at 9 p.m.

Organizers encourage attendees to bring lawn chairs, family members and friends for a night of community celebration along the Mississippi River.
