Cape Girardeau Roller Derby went head-to-head with Rolla Rockets

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – The Cape Girardeau Roller Derby went up against Rolla Rockets Roller Derby on Saturday, August 19 at 6:00 p.m.
The family friendly event was held in the A.C. Brase Arena, as a fundraiser for Watkins Wildlife Rehab.
The Watkins Wildlife Rehab founder, John Watkins, was in attendance.
Kristin Rickman, League Spokesperson for Cape Girardeau Roller Derby says, “The roller derby is a charity and so all the proceeds of our home games are directed back to other local charities.”
Tickets were available for $7 through Venmo and Paypal, and also $9 at the door.
