Cape Girardeau to certify election results, swear in new mayor April 20

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — City of Cape Girardeau will formally certify the results of the April 7 election and swear in incoming officials later this month.

A virtual meeting to declare election results is scheduled for 5 p.m. April 13.

The ceremonial swearing-in of incoming Mayor Robbie Guard and City Council members will take place during the regular City Council meeting at 5 p.m. April 20.
