Cape Girardeau woman charged after alleged vehicle attack

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI)- On October 27, 2024, Rayshiana Moore, 26, was arrested by the Cape Girardeau Police Department.

According to police reports, Moore and her companion argued at a local restaurant before leaving. The altercation escalated in the vehicle, with Moore spitting on the male victim.

After exiting the vehicle, Moore allegedly drove toward the victim, who jumped onto the curb to avoid being struck. Undeterred, Moore accelerated, striking the victim twice, causing him to become airborne and hit the ground.

Witnesses reported Moore exiting the vehicle, grabbing the victim’s hair, and striking his face.

Multiple witnesses witnessed the attack, with at least one providing video footage to police.

The Cape Girardeau Police Department continues to investigate this incident.

She is charged with Armed Criminal Action, and Domestic Assault 1st Degree – 1st Offense.

Moore’s bond has been set at $25,000 cash, signed by Judge Koester.
