Cape Riverfront Market to host Marketeers Festival on June 7

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The Cape Riverfront Market will host the Marketeers Festival on Saturday, June 7, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 35 S. Spanish St.

The festival, dedicated to the market’s young attendees, will feature nutritional activities, games, face painting, henna tattoos, and live music by Amber Duley.

A demonstration tent, sponsored by The Bank of Missouri, will also be available. Participating children can earn up to $3 in market tokens to spend on local produce.

The event will take place on a closed portion of Spanish Street, allowing for additional vendors and activities.

The Cape Riverfront Market is held every Saturday from May to October. The festival is made possible by The Bank of Missouri, which will also host a planter painting activity for children.
