Cape Splash to reopen for final weekend after storm cleanup

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. — Cape Splash Family Aquatic Center plans to reopen this weekend after storm damage temporarily disrupted operations at the park.
Cape Splash said maintenance crews have been working to clean up the facility and prepare it to safely reopen for the final weekend of the season.
Riverwalking and Preschool Playtime are scheduled from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday. The aquatic center will then open to the public from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
On Sunday, Cape Splash will be open to the public from noon to 6 p.m.
The aquatic center had previously canceled activities following significant storm damage in the Cape Girardeau area.
Cape Splash thanked its maintenance crews for their cleanup efforts and the community for its patience.
The weekend will mark the aquatic center’s final weekend of the season.
