CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The Cape Warming Center is seeking volunteers as temperatures are expected to drop beginning Saturday and continue for several nights.

Organizers say additional volunteers are needed to help operate the warming center during the colder weather.

The organization is also looking for individuals to sign up through its meal train to provide food for guests. As of Thursday, Sunday and Tuesday breakfasts were still in need of coverage if forecasted temperatures remain low.

More information on volunteering and meal sign-ups is available through the Cape Warming Center’s online signup pages.
