Car wash business gives back to area school districts through community partnership

OBION COUNTY, Tenn. (KBSI) – Parrots Car Wash partners with area Tennessee schools to help give back to the community.
This partnership between Obion County Schools and Parrots Car Wash supports local education through community participation.
Parrots Car Wash will donate $1 for every car wash performed on the first Wednesday of each month.
The first donation totaled $260 for each school district, as Obion County and Union City are separate districts.
The goal is to extend the program to every Wednesday as community participation increases.
Greg Barclay, Assistant Director of Schools, and Lauren Kendall, Communications Director for Obion County Schools, accepted the first check from Parrots Car Wash (formerly known as Peppy’s Car Wash; rebranding is still in progress).
Presenting the check was owner Jeff Bush, who was joined by employees David Boyantum and Nick Gross.
