Carbondale firefighters train in basement fire operations

CARBONDALE, Ill., (KBSI) — Personnel with the City of Carbondale Fire Department conducted live fire training last week focused on basement fire operations.

According to the department, firefighters practiced fire suppression and search-and-rescue techniques during drills held at the Regional Training Center.
