Carbondale man facing aggravated battery charge

CARBONDALE, Ill. (KBSI) – A Carbondale man faces an aggravated battery charge.

Carbondale police officers responded to the 1400 block of East Main Street on February 19 at 10:42 p.m. for an unprovoked battery, according to the Carbondale Police Department.

Officer quickly located David A. Knickerbocker, 51, and arrested him.

He faces an aggravated battery charge.

Knickerbocker was taken to the Jackson County Jail.
