Carbondale Mayor invites community to 2nd Annual CommuniTEA Social Hour
CARBONDALE, Ill., (KBSI) — Mayor Carolin Harvey is hosting the 2nd Annual CommuniTEA Social Hour, an event aimed at connecting community-minded individuals and non-profits in the region.
The gathering will take place on Saturday, July 12, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Carbondale Civic Center, 200 S. Illinois Ave.
Event Highlights:
* Brief Presentation and Games: Mayor Harvey will give a brief presentation, followed by interactive games to help guests get acquainted with one another (12-12:30 p.m.).
* Networking and Mingling: Guests can enjoy hors d’oeuvres and iced tea while networking with local non-profits and community-focused individuals.
* Non-Profit Showcase: Several regional non-profits will be in attendance, providing opportunities for guests to learn about their work and get involved.
