Carbondale police ask for help finding missing teen

CARBONDALE, Ill. (KBSI) – Carbondale police ask for the public’s help finding a missing teenager.

Matthew Pollard, 17, of Carbondale was last seen on August 18 at 8:40 a.m. walking west in the 2500 block of East Walnut Street in Carbondale.

Pollard is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 120 pounds with blue eyes and shoulder-length blond hair.

He was last seen wearing brown glasses, a purple tie-dyed t-shirt, black shorts and blue shoes.

Police say Pollard suffers from a condition that places him at risk.
