FOUND Carbondale police ask for help finding missing woman

CARBONDALE, Ill. (KBSI) – On Sept. 18 she was found safe and in good health.

 

Carbondale police ask for the public’s help finding a missing woman.

Mandy E. Pope, 20, was last seen on August 13 around 5 p.m. possibly heading to Marion, Illinois.

Pope is described as a white woman, standing 4 feet 11 inches tall. She weighs 180 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black dress.

Carbondale police say Pope suffers from a condition that places her at risk.

Anyone with information where Pope may be is asked to contact the City of Carbondale Police Department at (618) 549-2121. People can also call the Carbondale/SIU Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (618) 549-COPS (2677) or the Murphysboro/Jackson County anonymous tip line at (618) 687-COPS (2677).

Pope previously went missing in December of 2023 but was found safe and in good health in December and was found safe a few days later.
