Carbondale police ask for public’s help after theft at hospital

CARBONDALE, Ill. (KBSI) – Carbondale police ask for the public’s help in identifying and finding a person suspected of committing a theft at a hospital.
On January 24 around 10:45 p.m., an unidentified white male forced entry into a restricted office area of Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
Once inside, the suspect entered several offices and left with property belonging to the hospital, according to police.
Once outside the hospital, security officers confronted him, but he ran northbound on N. Poplar Street and out of sight.
