Carbondale police investigate call of shots fired

CARBONDALE, Ill. (KBSI) – Carbondale police are investigating a report of shots fired in the 800 block of North Marion Street on Saturday, March 4 at 11:11 a.m.

Officers found that the suspect or suspects had already left the area.

Officers learned a black male in a white, black, and red leather jacket and jogging pants was seen running from the area after the shots were fired.

No injuries were reported. However, a vehicle was damaged.

The investigation is active and ongoing.
