Carbondale police investigate home invasion incident

CARBONDALE, Ill., (KBSI) — Carbondale police responded to a home invasion report on July 22, 2025, at 6:03 p.m. in the 3100 block of West Sunset Street.

According to police, the suspect forced entry into the residence and battered the victim, who answered the door. The victim declined medical attention for minor injuries.

Police arrested Jazlen C. Bolden, 26, of Springfield, Illinois, after she allegedly battered officers during the arrest. Bolden faces charges of home invasion, battery, aggravated battery to a police officer, resisting a peace officer and obstructing identification.
