Carbondale police investigating several reports of stolen vehicles

CARBONDALE, Ill. (KBSI) – Carbondale police are investigating several reports of vehicle thefts.
Since May 7, Carbondale police investigated several reports of motor vehicle thefts and attempted motor vehicle thefts.
Police say targeted vehicles include Kia, Hyundai and Dodge, specifically the Dodge Challenger.
Most of the stolen vehicle cases involve the Kia and Hyundai models between the years of 2011 and 2022.
