Carbondale police looking for vehicle after home damaged by gunfire

CARBONDALE, Ill. (KBSI) – Carbondale police are investigating a report of shots fired in the 100 block of South Forest Street on Friday, Jan. 28.

It happened around 8:34 a.m. Officers learned the suspects left the area travelling east on West Walnut Street in a dark silver or grey Kia.

No injuries were reported. Officers located a home that was damaged by gunfire. The investigation is active and ongoing.
