Carbondale police seeking man in connection to weekend shooting

CARBONDALE, Ill. (KBSI) –The Carbondale Police Department is looking for a man in connection to a shooting Saturday night.

On Saturday, April 19, at 8:59 p.m. police officers responded to the 600 block of East Main Street for a report of a person who had been shot.

The victim, who had a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, reported being in the 200 block of North Wall Street where they were arguing with a white male, and a shot was fired.

The victim said he didn’t realize he had been shot until after he fled the scene.
