Carbondale to host Ameren workshop offering $300 energy bill credit

CARBONDALE, Ill., (KBSI) – The City of Carbondale is encouraging Ameren Illinois customers to attend the Ameren Illinois Community Development Workshop on Thursday, Oct. 2, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Carbondale Civic Center, 200 S. Illinois Ave.

The event will feature on-site customer care and support, clean energy program workshops, and energy savings consultations. Eligible participants can earn a $300 bill credit by completing an educational session during the workshop.

To qualify, attendees must have an active Ameren Illinois electric or gas account and a household income at or below 300 percent of the federal poverty level. The account holder must be present. Participants should bring their Ameren Illinois bill, photo identification and proof of income for the past 30 days.

Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
