Carbondale to host meeting on honorary street sign policy

CARBONDALE, Ill., (KBSI) — The community is invited to attend a meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 6, to discuss the city’s honorary street sign policy.

The meeting will be held from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Carbondale Civic Center.

Attendees will receive information on the difference between honorary and permanent street naming, review past practices and have the opportunity to share ideas on how to modify the process moving forward.
