Carrier Mills man arrested after home invasion, attack on 2 people

CARRIER MILLS, Ill. (KBSI) – Police arrested a man suspected to be involved in a home invasion and attack on two Carrier Mills residents.

Tyrese D. Isbell, 24, of Carrier Mills faces charges of home invasion (Class X felony), domestic battery, battery and endangering the life/health of a child and two counts of unlawful use of a weapon by a felon.

The Carrier Mills Police Department and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office participated in a joint detail which led to Isbell’s arrest.

He was arrested at the Elkville Dollar General store after a short foot chase with police.

Isbell was taken to the Jackson County Jail.
