Carrier Mills man facing murder charge in Indiana arrested in Harrisburg

HARRISBURG, Ill. (KBSI) – A Carrier Mills man facing a murder charge in Indiana was arrested in Harrisburg.

Jaron Wells, 28, of Carrier Mills was arrested on Monday, September 11.

Members of the Harrisburg Police Department, Saline County Sheriff’s Department were assisted by detectives from the Evansville Police Department and agents from the United States Marshals Service helped arrest Wells.

He had a active warrant charging him with murder out of Vanderburgh County, Indiana.

Law enforcement contacted Wells on foot near the courthouse where he was arrested.

He was booked into the Saline County Detention Center on his warrant.
