Carterville police to host National Night Out at Cannon Park

CARTERVILLE, Ill., (KBSI) — The Carterville Police Department will host its 2026 National Night Out celebration from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, at Cannon Park.

The free, family-friendly event will give residents an opportunity to meet local police officers and other first responders while learning about community safety and crime prevention.

Activities and other attractions will be announced closer to the event. Residents of all ages are invited to attend.
