Centerstone thanks community for support ahead of Life;Story 5k

MARION, Ill., (KBSI) — Centerstone’s leadership and Board of Directors expressed gratitude Friday to attendees of its “Before the Dawn” reception, held to reflect on progress toward suicide prevention and awareness.
The event was supported by Life;Story Tribute Sponsor Pepsi MidAmerica and brought together community members united in the mission to ensure no one faces struggles alone, organizers said. The reception also recognized the generosity of Life;Story 2025 sponsors and partners.
“Thanks to our partners, Life;Story has become a place of unity and healing for hundreds of people impacted by suicide,” Centerstone said in a statement. “Through this event, participants find hope, comfort and connection — a testament to the power of community and compassion.”
The organization will host the annual Life;Story event on Saturday.
