Chester man faces dozen counts of possession of child porn

CHESTER, Ill. (KBSI) – A Chester, Illinois man faces a dozen counts of possession of child pornography.

Brian Fricke, 33, of Chester faces 12 counts of possession of child pornography – under age 13 (Class 2 felony).

On February 15, Illinois State Police agents and the Illinois Attorney General’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force began an investigation into the possession of child pornography.

On April 3, authorities conducted a search warrant. Fricke was arrested for possession of child pornography and taken to the Randolph County Jail.

Illinois State Police troopers were assisted during the investigation by the Chester Police Department.

Randolph County States Attorney James Kelley prosecuted the case.
