City of Cape Girardeau hosts National Movement Day on June 4
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The Cape Girardeau Parks & Recreation Foundation will host National Movement Day on Wednesday, June 4, at the Cape LaCroix Trail.
The free event, which begins with registration at 5 p.m. and kickoff at 5:30 p.m. at the Osage Centre Trailhead, will feature a 1-mile fun run/bike, 5K and scavenger hunt.
Participants can cool down with a lap in the Cape Splash lazy river (for those 18 and older). A themed scavenger hunt will be available for kids.
Food and drinks will be available in limited quantities. No pre-registration is required.
