City of Cape Girardeau to host 40th Annual Friends of the Parks Day

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The City of Cape Girardeau Parks & Recreation Department will host the 40th Annual Friends of the Parks Day and the Great Cape Clean Up on April 26, 2025.

The event, scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., will bring together volunteers to beautify various city parks. Tasks will include planting flower beds, mulching playgrounds and painting playground equipment.

Volunteers will receive lunch and a T-shirt. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. at Capaha Park Shelter #3.
