City of Carbondale offering 500 boxes of produce, meat

CARBONDALE, Ill. (KBSI) – The city of Carbondale is offering 500 boxes of fresh food to people needing food for the holidays.

The City of Carbondale is offering 500 boxes full of fresh produce and meat from Cusunamo & Sons, Inc.

The boxes of fresh produce and meat from Cusunamo & Sons, Inc. will be available during the Carbondale Food Box Giveaway on Thursday, December 21, from 9 a.m. to noon.

Citizens wishing to receive a food box can drive through the west parking lot of City Hall during the event to pick up a food box for their household.
