City of Chester to have citywide clean up

CHESTER, Ill. (KBSI) – The City of Chester will have a citywide clean up June 3, 4, 6 and 7 (on trash pick up day).

Call 618-826-3712 in advance to schedule a pick up and leave address. One one pick up per household.

Items not accepted include electronics, remodeling debris, roofing materials, tires, chemicals, oils, batteries, general household trash, yard waste, hazardous waste material, paint (will accept dried paint cans.)

Items cannot be more than 10 feet by 5 feet by 2 feet area.

The elderly or disabled are asked to call 618-826-5114 to schedule special pick up arrangements.
