GREENVILLE, Mo. (KBSI) – The city of Greenville is offering a reward for information to the arrest and conviction of any person, or people responsible for vandalizing city property.

The new city park sign at Greenville’s city park was found vandalized the morning of Wednesday, September 11.

“This type of behavior absolutely disgusts me. I sincerely apologize to the family of Mrs. Brenda Henson. There is no purpose to vandalism. It jeopardizes the public safety, detracts from the appearance of the Park, and forces the expenditure of the City’s limited resources to repair or replace something,” said Greenville Mayor Jason C. Hill on his Facebook page.

Anyone with information about the vandalism is asked to call Greenville City Hall at 573-224-3911, Wayne County Sheriff’s Department or Mayor Jason Hill at 573-778-5558.
