City of Jackson issues snow route proclamation ahead of winter weather

JACKSON, Mo., (KBSI) – Jackson City Hall has issued a snow route proclamation effective at 8 a.m. Friday, Jan. 23, 2026, for designated streets in the City of Jackson.

The proclamation is intended to allow crews to conduct snow removal operations. All vehicles and other obstructions must be removed from designated snow routes by 8 a.m. Vehicles left on snow routes after that time may be ticketed or towed.

Officials encourage residents to use off-street parking when available to help keep streets clear for snowplows and emergency vehicles.
