City of Jackson to host fire hose uncoupling ceremony and open house for newly remodeled fire station

JACKSON, Mo., (KBSI) — The City of Jackson and Jackson Fire Rescue will host a Fire Hose Uncoupling Ceremony and Public Open House to celebrate the completion of the newly remodeled Fire Station No. 1.
The event will be held Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2025, at the station located at 525 South Hope St., Jackson, MO 63755. The uncoupling ceremony will begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by a public open house from 4 to 7 p.m.
City officials said the milestone marks the department’s continued commitment to safety, service, and community partnership.
Residents are invited to attend and tour the updated facility, meet local firefighters, and learn more about Jackson Fire Rescue’s work to protect and serve the community.
