City of Sikeston ends Adopt-A-Road program

SIKESTON, Mo., (KBSI) — The City of Sikeston has discontinued its Adopt-A-Road program, effective July 1.

City officials expressed gratitude to participants and encouraged continued community involvement in beautification efforts.

Signs posted along adopted roads will be removed by July 15 and taken to the Public Works Complex. Former participants can reclaim their signs after July 15 by contacting Darren Martin at 573-475-3732.
