City utility pole damaged by gunfire; Police investigate

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) – A report of shots fired in the area of Locust St. and Ranney Ave. brought officers to the scene around 10:30 p.m. Sunday.

Police collected evidence and found property damage to a city utility pole that was struck by gunfire.

No injuries or additional property damage were reported.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
