Codefi offering Bounce My Big Idea program for entrepreneurs
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – “Bounce My Big Idea is really going to be a cohort-based workshop where you’re working with other entrepreneurs on their ideas.”
Crystal Owens is the Head of Startup Programs at Codefi. She said this upcoming workshop will help ambitious innovators find solutions to problems they encounter during the early process of their startups.
“Most startups fail because they rush out to build a product that they’re really excited about, but they actually don’t know if it’s the right solution yet,” she said. “We’re really trying to find folks before they’ve rushed out to build a product and help them get on the right path from the beginning.”
Codefi offers other programs, like First 50K, in which they bring tech startups to Cape Girardeau and help them work on their ideas…
Sho Rust is the CEO of Sho.ai, which focuses on brand creation and management, and Pubgen.ai, which uses AI to help publishers balance tackling great journalism with creating an engaging digital experience online…
Rust created both of these brands through the First 50K program, and he said it can be difficult navigating the world of entrepreneurship, but being able to engage with others who have been in your shoes is a huge help.
“Startup journeys are always a roller coaster,” he said. “It’s never easy, but it’s been really exciting, and it’s been really helpful, even like the darkest times of your startup because you’re always going to have those, to speak to other people who have gone through similar waves.”
And Owens revealed the most rewarding part of helping these startups and seeing them take off.
“I’ve had a pretty non-linear career path myself, and I really just feel completely lit up and fulfilled when I get to help other people break down the barriers and obstacles that have kept them from pursuing their dreams,” she said.
The registration deadline for the Bounce My Big Idea program is February 13, and the first session will begin on February 20.
