Cole Clanton named Head Football Coach at South Fulton High

SOUTH FULTON, Tenn., (KBSI) — South Fulton High School has announced the hiring of Cole Clanton as its new head football coach.

A native of Obion County, Clanton brings 14 years of coaching experience to the Red Devils. He is a 2005 graduate of Obion County Central High School and played football at Bethel University.

Clanton most recently served as offensive coordinator at Union City High School. He has also coached at McKenzie High School, South Side High School and OCCHS.

“I’m extremely honored to lead and serve the Red Devil program,” Clanton said. “Coaching is about building relationships and forming bonds that last a lifetime.”

Clanton and his wife, Laken, a nurse practitioner, live in Obion County with their three children.
