Commercial vehicle crashes into pond near I-55 in Miner

MINER, Mo., (KBSI) — A commercial vehicle crashed into a pond near northbound Interstate 55 on Tuesday morning, Oct. 6, according to the Miner Police Department.
Officers responded to a reported crash near mile marker 68 and found the vehicle had traveled through a cable barrier, left the roadway and come to rest in a pond, police said.
The driver was not injured in the crash but was taken by emergency medical personnel for evaluation of a possible medical emergency.
The Miner Fire Department, Missouri State Highway Patrol, Scott County Sheriff’s Office, South Scott County Ambulance District, Lowe’s Towing and D&K Towing assisted at the scene.
