Community Counseling Center Foundation hosting blood drive May 21
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The Community Counseling Center Foundation is hosting a blood drive on May 21, 2025, from 1:30-5:30 p.m. at the American Red Cross Blood Donation Center, 20 S. Mount Auburn Rd.
The event aims to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation and its role in supporting community health and well-being, particularly during Mental Health Awareness Month.
According to Michelle Ramsey, executive director of the Community Counseling Center Foundation, the organization has hosted a blood drive during May for the past five years.
The American Red Cross provides life-saving blood and blood products to regional hospitals and clinics. The blood drive seeks to bolster the local blood supply.
The event will be May 21, 2025, from 1:30-5:30 p.m. at 20 S. Mount Auburn Rd, Cape Girardeau, MO 63703.
