Community Counseling Center Foundation hosts 10th annual Craft Beer Festival

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – The Community Counseling Center Foundation hosted its 10th annual Craft Beer Festival Saturday afternoon at Arena Park.

Visitors got to taste more than 200 different beers from local breweries while raising money for the Community Counseling Center Foundation.

This is one of the largest fundraisers for the foundation, and Executive Director Michelle Ramsey said the festival just keeps growing.

“Now we’ve given people an exciting reason to come back, and it’s fun. It’s fun to see the activity. It’s fun to see all the product and know that tasting guide has 25 tables on it and not 10 or 15, and now people will tell their friends, and more will come next year, which is even better,” she said.

The foundation helps support the work done by the Community Counseling Center and helps fill in the gaps for things that are not covered in the budget.
