Community invited to honor officers who made the ultimate sacrifice

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — A Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony is scheduled for May 14 in Cape Girardeau to honor officers who died in the line of duty.

The event, hosted by Seniors and Lawmen Together, will begin at 10 a.m. at Cape Bible Chapel.

Coffee and donuts will be available starting at 9 a.m.

Organizers said the ceremony is open to the public and aims to provide an opportunity for the community to reflect and show appreciation for fallen officers.
