Community Partnership of Southeast Missouri parts ways with executive director

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The Community Partnership of Southeast Missouri announced that Executive Director Dr. Melissa Stickel is no longer with the organization, effective immediately. The board thanked Stickel for her contributions and wished her well in future endeavors.
The board of directors has appointed Ryan Essex as interim executive director. Essex also serves as chief operating officer of the Gibson Center for Behavioral Change. The organization said it is confident in his ability to guide the partnership through the transition.
Community Partnership of Southeast Missouri said it remains committed to its mission and appreciates continued support from staff, community partners and supporters as it moves forward. The board encouraged the community to welcome Essex in his new role.
