Community rallies around injured workers with benefit event

FARMINGTON, Mo., (KBSI) — A benefit event is scheduled for June 21, 2025, to support Christopher Menz and Donnie Essner, two Southeast Traffic Signal and Light District employees injured while working in Jackson, Missouri.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Overland 573 Expeditions & Outfitters, located at 1000 E. Woodlawn Drive.

The benefit will feature an off-road vehicle car show, 50/50 raffle, silent auction and food trucks. Proceeds will go directly to Menz and Essner and their families.
