Community to hold candlelight Vigil honoring officer Henry Franklin Friday in Sikeston

SIKESTON, Mo., (KBSI) — A community candlelight vigil honoring Officer Henry Franklin is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 10, at 7 p.m. outside the Sikeston Department of Public Safety, 201 S. Kingshighway.

Participants are invited to gather around Officer Franklin’s patrol car, which is on display in front of the building. Organizers expect several speakers. Attendees are asked to bring a lawn chair and a candle or glow stick.

Parking will be available in the lot south of the Sikeston DPS building, accessible from E. Trotter Street.
